Yoga Inspired HIIT

This is a low-impact joint-friendly bodyweight (full body) HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) style of practice using yoga inspired yoga asana & movement.
Yoga is a 5000-year-old practice from South Asia. Yoga in English translates as “heart & mind connection.” Yoga is a blend of philosophy, meditation, pranayama (breath), & yogasana (a physical practice that is the inspiration for this class).
Yoga has helped me to gain more insight into who I am by listening & honouring my body, mind & heart & putting me on a constant path to self-realization.
In this class, we start with a 3-minute warm-up followed by 3-5 exercises for 3 rounds altogether. Instead of using a timer, we use our intuition; going at your own pace & completing each move when you feel you’ve had enough. Then we cool down & relax!
This class is for anyone who wants to build up a sweat & get the heart rate up without using high-impact moves on the joints (options & variations are always offered)!
