Yoga Inspired HIIT #2

This is a low-impact joint friendly bodyweight (full body) HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) style of practice using yoga inspired yogasana & movement.
yoga is a 5000 year old practice from South Asia. Yoga in English translates as “heart & mind connection.” Yoga is a blend of philosophy, meditation, pranayama (breath), & yogasana (physical practice which is the inspiration for this class).
yoga has helped me to gain more insight to who I am by listening & honouring my body, mind & heart & putting me on a constant path to self-realization.
In this class we start with a 3-minute warm-up followed by 3-5 exercises for 3 rounds altogether. Instead of using a timer we use our intuition; going at your own pace & completing each move when you feel you’ve had enough. Then we cool down & relax!
This class is for anyone who wants to build up a sweat & get the heart rate up without using high impact moves on the joints (options & variations are always offered)!
